  • Taxi: A direct taxi ride from the airport to Solent University takes around 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic.

2. London Heathrow Airport (LHR)

  • Distance to Solent University: Approximately 70 miles (113 km).
  • Travel Options:
  • Coach: National Express coaches run directly from Heathrow Airport to Southampton Coach Station, with a journey time of around 1 hour and 50 minutes. From the coach station, it’s a 10-minute walk or a short taxi ride to the campus.

How do I apply?

The Application Manager will apply to your chosen university, helping you collect the correct documents, including certificates, transcripts, personal statements, CV and references. You will receive a "Conditional Offer" from your chosen university, and your Application Manager will support you in fulfilling any conditions, including the deposit. The next stage is to prepare a bank statement for tuition fees (minus the deposit) plus the UKVI living allowance, which must be in credit for at least 28 days. A CAS "Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies" letter will be issued by your chosen university, enabling you to apply for a Tier 4 Student Visa. Your Application Manager will work with you and support you through the Visa application stage.
